The Ministrations of Frannie

Frannie Ingram, at forty, found out that she was pregnant. With twins. For the second time.

Shortly after this surprising reveal Frannie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She made the choice to wait for her mastectomy until after the twins were born. Frannie’s husband John is a saint. Her eldest son Danny is not. The older twins are hellions and her daughter Emma, is her rock.

Unfortunately, Emma’s university escape plan was waylaid by her mother’s treatment and subsequent recovery. So, while Frannie hides in the bathtub and the rest of the family hide from her, Emma attempts to hold her chaotic family together and find a way to have a life of her own.

How Does This End?

Abe is a successful doctor but in his personal life, he’s a mess. Holding the title of ‘family screw-up’, he is a serial dater, he drinks too much and never fails to disappoint.

While Abe is loved by his three brothers and his parents, his bad boy behaviour has reached the tipping point to his barely being tolerated. Meanwhile, Susan, his brother’s ex, comes back into the family picture, providing more complication to the already tense family dynamic.
